How Do You Take Your Fiction?

I am an old soul; and thus will I forever remain.

I take my fiction between covers with a nice steaming cup of hot cocoa on the side.

For me, the weight of a good book in my hand is like time spent with an old friend.  There is simply something nostalgic about it that is comforting to the soul.

I love the faint scent of vanilla that emanates from the paper and the familiar rustle of the pages as they carry me deeper and deeper into another world. There is a richness deeply rooted in bindings and covers of an old book; something that can never be replicated by the less personable electronic versions now available.

I spent the better part of my childhood in the library, emerged in the endless adventures that surrounded me there. It is as much a part of me as my beating heart.

Yet, long gone are the days when you had to make a trip to the library or a bookstore to obtain that much awaited new release.  Gone are the days of quills scratching out grand adventures upon papyrus.

In today’s world every book of your imagining is only a click away.  And there is a great deal to be said for the ease and availability of any and every imaginable piece of literature right at your fingertips. No waiting. No hassle. No overdue fees. It can be, and is, a beautiful thing.

Perhaps you are an old soul like me and prefer the feel of paper in your hands; or perhaps you love the ease of portability of electronic media. Maybe Apple is your device of choice; or perhaps you prefer Nook or Kindle.

No matter what your vice, I have great news for you!  We have something for everyone!

The Crystal Keys: Champion of Destiny will be available on five different e-book platforms including Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook, Kobo, Google Books, and Apople iPad!

And of course…my favorite… good old fashioned ink and paper.

Who’s ready to read?

Now it’s your turn to share.  How do you take your fiction?
